Over 2500 years ago, God called upon the prophet Jeremiah to call to a godless and hard-hearted generation to return to God. Today, God is still calling upon believers to do the same. In the Great Commission, Christ calls upon believers to go to the ends of the earth, making disciples of all nations and baptizing believers. Like Jeremiah, believers are now God’s ambassadors, exiles and missionaries in the midst of a culture adrift from God. Christ-followers are on mission for God, preaching a message of God’s overwhelming love for a fickle people.
